Χαιρετίζω τους αθλητές, τους προπονητές και τους συνοδούς των ομάδων που θα λάβουν μέρος στο 10ο επετειακό «Athens Junior European Cup – Iliadis Cup 2019» που θα διεξαχθεί στο Ολυμπιακό Κέντρο Άνω Λιοσίων της Αθήνας.
Εύχομαι καλή επιτυχία σε όλους και ειδικά στους φιλοξενούμενούς μας από 25 χώρες καλή διαμονή στη χώρα μας. Το Athens Junior European Cup, μέρος της σειράς των IJF World Judo Tour, επιστρέφει στο παγκόσμιο καλεντάρι των τζουντόκα.
Η Ελληνική Ομοσπονδία Τζούντο συνεχίζει με σχέδιο και σωστή οργάνωση την πορεία ανάπτυξης, που έχει φέρει μεγάλες επιτυχίες στον Ελληνικό αθλητισμό. Η Γενική Γραμματεία Αθλητισμού της Ελλάδας αισθάνεται μεγάλη ικανοποίηση γι αυτό το γεγονός και στέκεται στο πλευρό των Ελλήνων αθλητών και αθλητριών στο δρόμο προς τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Τόκυο 2020.
Οι αγώνες που φέρουν το όνομα του ολυμπιονίκη και παγκόσμιου πρωταθλητή Ηλία Ηλιάδη, για άλλη μια φορά θα γίνουν μέσο για τη φιλία, τη συνεργασία και την αλληλοκατανόηση των χωρών μας, όπως πρέπει πάντα να κάνει ο αθλητισμός. Καλή επιτυχία. Ιούλιος Συναδινός Γενικός Γραμματέας Αθλητισμού

I would like to welcome the athletes, coaches and escorts of the teams that will take part in the 10th anniversary “Athens Junior European Cup – Iliadis Cup 2019”, which will take place in the Olympic Center of Ano Liosia in Athens. I wish everyone, and especially our guests from 25 countries, an enjoyable stay in our country.
The Athens Junior European Cup, part of the IJF World Judo Tour series, returns to the world judoka calendar.
The Hellenic Judo Federation moves ahead with plan and proper organizational skills to the path of development, which has brought great success to Greek sports. The General Secretariat of Sports of Greece takes great pride and satisfaction from this and stands by the side of Greek athletes on the road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
This event, which is named after the Olympic champion and world champion Ilias Iliadis, will once again become a means of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding of our countries, as sport must always is. I wish you every success!
